Diana Lea Lauck

Diana Lea Lauck, the daughter of James and Ada (Dagfinson) Lauck was born March 22, 1946 in Spencer, IA. Her childhood years were spent in the Spencer area where she attended school and graduated from Spencer High School. After graduation she attended Business School in Des Moines, IA, University of South Dakota, and Spencer School of Business. Diana worked in retail at Gibson's and Super Valu. She enjoyed painting and drawing, playing Sorry and card games, especially Garbage, fishing, spending time with family and showing off pictures of her grandchildren to friends. She played the accordion and in high school was in Trampoline Club. She was a member of First Christian Church in Spencer. Diana passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at the age of 71 at Ruthven Care Center in Ruthven, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 3 aunts. Left to cherish her memory are her special friend Jim Larsen; one son, Todd (Heather) Lauck; 7 grandchildren, Jamie, Sid, Beau, Tommy, Caden, Seth, and Shelby one brother, James (Dawn) Lauck of Minneapolis, MN; one sister, Linda (Reg) Shoesmith of Bettendorf, IA; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
SERVICES
Funeral services will take place 10:30 A.M., Friday, August 11, at Living Word Church in Spencer.
