Donald Doyle Wolcott, the son of Raymond and Belva (Doyle) Wolcott, was born on March 25, 1927, in Gilmore City, Iowa. He was raised and received his early education there and graduating from Gilmore City High. After high school, Donald entered into the military with the U.S. Navy. Following his time in the military, Donald lived in Cedar Rapids, IA where he worked for Quaker Oats. He was then transferred to Rembrandt, when it became Cargill and then to Gillett Grove. Donald worked for the company for over 30 years before retiring, when he went into farming.
On July 2, 1958, Donald married Letha Olson in Jackson MN. Following their marriage, they lived on a farm near Gillett Grove. Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. He also liked to attend car races in Alta and enjoyed watching any sports. He was a very quiet and generous man.
Donald passed away unrepentantly on Sunday, August 8, 2010, at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Leatha; his stepson, Richard Miller; 2 grand children; 2 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Donald's wishes were to be cremated. There will be no services.
