Donald Leroy Rosacker

June 11, 1932 — December 20, 2012

Donald Leroy Rosacker, the son of Elmer and Eva Monk Rosacker was born June 11, 1932 in Ruthven, IA. He grew up on a farm and attended country school near Ayrshire, IA. He married Rosella Fogerty on May 28, 1956 in Whittemore, IA. They lived and farmed around Webb, Gillette Grove, and Ayrshire. Donald's passion was farming, but he also enjoyed going to the elevator and visiting with friends. He liked to travel, feed livestock, and spend time with family, especially his grandchildren. Donald lost his battle with cancer on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the Ruthven Care Center in Ruthven, IA, at the age of 80. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, James Rosacker; and one brother-in-law. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Rosella of Spencer; 4 children, Pat Rosacker of Spencer, IA, Philip (Tammy) Rosacker of Spencer, Tim Rosacker of Enid, OK, and Roger Rosacker of Spencer; 3 grandchildren, Brady, Whytnee and Wade Rosacker all of Spencer, IA; one sister, Leila Eagen of Texas, 2 brothers, Gene (Mary Lou) Rosacker of Mason City, IA and John Rosacker of Spencer; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

SERVICES

Funeral Services will take place 10:30 A.M., Monday, December 24, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer.

Visitation will take place Sunday, December 23, at Warner Funeral Home in Spencer, starting at 2:00 P.M., with family present from 5-8:00 P.M.
