Donald Louis Dempsey

October 3, 1923 — October 10, 2008

Donald Louis Dempsey, the son of Louis and Grace Schofield Dempsey, was born October 3, 1923 in San Diego, California. Don received his education in San Diego and lived there all of his life. Following his schooling, he and his business partner founded the company, Tool Research, which they owned and operated and prospered into a large company. They sold the company while he was in his forties and he retired. Donald married Lillian Byers on March 5, 1966 in Palos Verde, California. Following their marriage, they enjoyed traveling all over the world, golfing and spending time together. Over the years, a lot of their time was enjoyed at the Big Canyon Country Club, which is one of the most prestigious country clubs in the United States. Don passed away at the Rose Haven On The Park Boarding Home Care Center in San Clemente, California on Friday, October 10, 2008 at the age of 85. He was preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lillian of Capistrano Beach, California; other relatives and many many friends.

SERVICES

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 17, 2008 at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.
