Donna Lee Harrison

November 3, 1934 — June 21, 2016

Donna Lee Harrison, the daughter of Roy and Frances (Beving) Fiedler, was born November 3, 1934, in Spencer, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Spencer where she received her education, graduating from Spencer High School. Donna married George Harrison on April 28, 1952 in Jackson, Minnesota. After George received his honorable discharge from the U.S. Marines, they lived on a farm near Milford. In 1960, they moved to Peterson, Iowa, where she worked as a secretary for Dr. Kracht Chiropractic. During her later years, she worked as a cook at the Sutherland Nursing Home. In her spare time she loved golfing, bowling, card clubs, crossword puzzles and playing games on her computer. She passed away unexpectedly at the Spencer Hospital on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at the age of 81. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Doug in infancy; her husband, George in 2011; one sister, Jackie; and one grandson, Luke. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Bob Harrison of Davidsonville, Maryland, Terri (Mike) Mueller of Lake Park, IA and Jodi (Jeff) Triplett of Sutherland, IA; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
SERVICES
Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the United Methodist Church in Peterson, Iowa.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church.
