Donna Rae Philiph

Donna Rae Philiph, the daughter of Walter and Madge Monselle Schroeder was born December 17, 1933 in Spencer, IA. Her childhood years were spent in the Everly, IA area, where she graduated from Everly High School. Donna married Duane Philiph on August 14, 1955 in Everly. After marriage she spent her time as a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting. In her younger years she liked to fish. She also enjoyed spending time bird watching, feeding squirrels and reading a good book. Donna passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at North Lake Manor in Storm Lake, IA, at the age of 79. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Duane in 1995. Left to cherish her memory are her 3 children, Kelly (Sue) Philiph of Archer, IA, Cameron Philiph of Melvin, IA, and Keri Thomas (David Lee) of Alta; 4 grandchildren, Brianna (Ben) Grey of Lake Park, IA, Brandon (Katrina) Thomas of Alta, IA, Clarissa Stofferan of Sheldon, IA, and Todd Philiph of Hartley, IA; 3 great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Owen Thomas and Dominic Grey; one brother, Terry Schroeder of Tempe, AZ; 2 sisters, Memphis (Emmett) Kibbie of Emmetsburg, IA, and Jackie Wyman of Spencer, IA; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
