Donovan Leetaylor

Donovan Lee Taylor, the son of David and LaVonne (Williamson) Taylor, was born June 6, 1958 in Spencer, Iowa. His childhood years were spent in the states of Washington and Alaska, where he received his early education. His family moved back to Rembrandt in 1974, where he continued his education, graduating from Rembrandt Consolidated High School in 1976. He later attended NITC in Sheldon and then moved to California, where he attended and graduated from a dive school near Los Angeles, CA. Following his schooling, he worked as an underwater diver and welder all over the United States and finally in the Bering Sea near Dutch Harbor. Don later switched gears in his career and joined the Oregon Iron Workers, where he worked as a welder, constructing high-rise buildings. Don passed away near Peterson, Iowa on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the age of 52. His grandparents and his special aunt, Esther, preceded him in death. Left to cherish his memory are his parents: David and LaVonne Taylor of Peterson; a sister, Vicki Taylor of Spencer; one son, Samuel J. Taylor of Mineral Wells, TX; a nephew, Chris and his wife, Heidi Taylor and their children: Challer and Reannen Taylor of Spencer; other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Memorial services will be held 10:30 A.M., Monday, November 8, 2010 at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.

VISITATION
The family will be present to greet friends one hour prior to the memorial services at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.
MUSIC

Burial will take place privately at a later date.
