Doris Ann Bliek

Doris Ann Bliek, the daughter of Robert and Pearl Perkins Marble was born February 4, 1955 in Spencer, IA. Her childhood years were spent in the Spencer area, where she attended school. Doris married Ronald Bliek, they later divorced. She moved to Council Bluffs, where she worked at Conagra Foods for 8 years. Upon returning to Spencer, she worked at Econolodge. She enjoyed fishing, cleaning spending time with family, especially her grandkids. Doris passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013, at Sanford Health Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD at the age of 58. Doris was an organ donor and thanks to her great generosity many families will benefit from her gift. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Donald Marble and one sister Beverly Sanders. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Stephanie Marble of Spencer, IA; 3 granddaughters, Kylie Marble of Wytheville, VA, Brittany Marble of Spencer, IA, and Mackenzie Marble of Spencer, IA; one great-granddaughter Iloni; 3 great grandsons, Kavin, Jezreel, and Jackson; 3 sisters, Nancy Trierweiler of Greenville, IA, Roberta Beck, of Spencer, IA, and Donna Paulton of Spencer, IA; companion, Gabriel Utrera; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends. In Lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Doris' name.
