Dorothy Weber

Dorothy Mae Weber, the daughter of Arthur and Mae Anderson Woodford, was born September 14, 1917 on a farm east of Webb. She attended the Garfield School and graduated from there in 1934. She married Edward Weber on December 30, 1939 in Spencer, Iowa. They lived in the Webb area where Ed owned and operated his own trucking business. Dorothy was a homemaker. Dorothy passed away on March 16, 2012 at the Longhouse Residence in Spencer at the age of 94. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ed on July 6, 1999; a daughter, Beverly Northrup; a son, Ronald Weber; a son-in-law, Bill Northrup; brother, Kenneth Woodford and two sisters, Vera Anderson and Mary Alexander. She is survived by four grandchildren: Claire (Jason) Weber West of Tucson, AZ and their daughter, Emily West, Alaric Weber of Tucson, AZ, Jack Northrup of Council Bluffs, IA and Valorie Northrup of Waverly, IA; one sister, Eleanor Essick and several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
