Dr. Clyde Thalen Johnson

Dr. Clyde Thalen Johnson, the son of John and Victoria (Thalen) Johnson, was born October 27, 1926, in LeMars, Iowa. His childhood years were spent in LeMars where he attended school and graduated from LeMars High School. Following graduation, he attended Westmar College for two years and then Logan School of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO. Following graduation, Clyde moved to Spencer and owned and operated a chiropractic office for 40 years. In 1997, Clyde was united in marriage to Elizabeth Busho in Rochester, MN. The couple lived in Spencer and wintered in Sun City, AZ. Clyde loved to play golf, sing, and dance, but most of all he enjoyed being around family and friends. On May 29, 2009, Dr. Clyde Johnson passed away at the Hospice of the Valley in Sun City, AZ, at the age of 82. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Victoria Johnson. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Elizabeth Johnson of Sun City, AZ; two children: Clark T. (Debra) Johnson of Oskaloosa, IA, and Bradley (Lynda) Johnson of Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren: Grant Johnson of Chicago, IL, and Meredith Johnson of Iowa City, IA; one brother, Rev. J. Don J. (Marileen) Johnson of Oceanside, CA; as well as other relatives and many friends.
SERVICES
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M, Saturday, July 25, 2009, at the Warner Chapel in Spencer, IA.

Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at Warner Funeral Home.
