Duane John Becker

January 27, 1943 — November 22, 2011

Duane John Becker, the son of Ray and Louise Berger Becker, was born January 27, 1943 in Algona, IA. His childhood years were spent on the family farm near Wesley, IA. Duane moved to Dickens, IA while working for the Dickens Elevator. He later worked construction and farmed, before working for Nolin Milling as a welder. He didn't take a lot of time off, as he always found work to be done, but when he did he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Duane passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at the Spencer Hospital, at the age of 68. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lois Wingert. Left to cherish his memory are his 3 children Brett Becker of Fairbault, MN, Brian (Lisa) Becker of Colorado Springs, CO, and Beth Becker, of Spencer, IA; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; other relatives; and many friends.

SERVICES

Funeral Services will take place 1:00 P.M., Friday, November 25, at Warner Funeral Home in Spencer.
