THANKS TO MY FRIENDS
I'd like to say a great big 'Thank You'
To my many caring friends.
Your flowers, cards and thoughtfulness
Just never seem to end.
To those who brought a meeting
Right into my room
To cheer my heart and lift my soul
And chase away the gloom,
I say a special 'Bless you'
For the kindness that you've shown,
For showing me the love of God
Through the sharing of your own.
For visits and well wishes,
For all who shared their day
Again, I just say 'Thank you'
For stopping up my way.
God sends our friends to help us
As we walk through this troubled hour.
You remind me that He loves me
And He is the Higher Power.
You've shown me so much love,
My gratitude will never cease.
May you wake in God's light, walk in His love and sleep sweetly in His peace.
My Love to all,
Edith
