Edith Mae Paul, the daughter of Clement and Elnora (Wiltse) Granger was born on September 6, 1927 in Sioux City, IA. Her childhood years were spent in the Crofton, NE area where she graduated from Crofton High School in 1947.
Edith married Alex Paul on June 1, 1947 in Sioux City, IA. They lived in several areas Spirit Lake, IA, Storm Lake, IA, and Fredericksburg, TX, before retiring back in Spencer, IA. Edith enjoyed vacationing, gardening, her pets, taking care of her mother-in-law in Texas, spending time with all her friends, children and grandchildren. She worked as a Certified Dietitian for Texas Health Care, Knopp Metzger Nursing Home, Stub's House of Plenty, Stub's Ranch Kitchen, Wonder Whip, and at Berkley Company in Spirit Lake.
Edith passed away on Monday, December 14, 2015 at St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer, IA, at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Alfred Granger and her husband.
Left to cherish her memory are her 2 children, Nancy (Richard) Luckenbill of Des Moines, IA and Howard and (Sheryl) Paul of Spirit Lake, IA; 5 grandchildren, Anthony and Alex Mathews, Richie Lee Luckenbill, Eric Paul, and Emily Paul Anderson; 7 great-grandchildren, Andrew, Jacob, Benjamin, Alex, Ava, Tristen, and Olivia; other relatives; and many friends.

Funeral services will take place 10:00 A.M., Thursday, December 17, at Warner Funeral Home in Spencer.
