Edna Louise Rigby

Edna Louise Rigby, the daughter of Lillian and Martin Schutt, was born on September 17th 1948 in Hampton, Iowa.  She spent most of her young life in Hampton and later moved to Spencer.  

     She met Garold McGuire while living in Spencer.  They became life-long companions and enjoyed fishing, doing crafts, visiting friends and going to the Clay County Fair together.  Edna was well known for her infectious smile and sense of humor.  She loved her cats and spending time with family.

     Edna moved to Longhouse Northshire several years ago where she enjoyed talking with people, reading, putting puzzles together and most of all playing Bingo.  The staff at Longhouse Northshire took good care of Edna.

     She passed away at Longhouse Northshire on Sunday, February 4th at the age of 69.  Edna was preceded in death by her son, Benjamin, her parents, Lillian and Martin Schutt and her brother Paul Schutt.

     Edna is survived by her companion, Garold McGuire, sister Mary Gregory (Bobby), brother Jerry Schutt (Janet), sister Martha Schutt, and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
