Edna Mae Knudtson

Edna Mae Knudtson, the daughter of Clarence and Edna (Fena) Goedicke, was born on January 30, 1920, in Spencer, Iowa. She was raised and attended school in Spencer. Following schooling, she worked in the area doing housekeeping duties.
Edna married Freeman Knudtson on February 18, 1941, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Following their marriage, they lived on a farm east of Milford. She lived in California for a short time, while Freeman was in the military. She returned to Spencer in 1946, and has lived here ever since. Edna enjoyed being at home and working around the house.
She passed away on September 26, 2012, at the St. Luke Lutheran Nursing Home at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Clarence Goedicke.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Freeman of Spencer, IA; other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Graveside Services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 29, 2012, at Riverside Cemetery.
