Ellie Remillard

Eleanor "Ellie" Evelyn Remillard, was born December 20, 1930 in Knox County, Nebraska to James and Mamie (Foreman) Frank. She attended country school near her home. After graduating from high school in 1949 at Verdigre, Nebraska, she worked a few years in Omaha, Nebraska. Eleanor moved to Iowa, where she met and married Wayne Remillard on May 16, 1954. She worked for Northwestern Bell for 27 years and later worked at Truck Haven until her retirement. She loved fishing, gardening and most of all spending time with family and friends. Eleanor passed away Friday, April 2, 2010 at home at the age of 79. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne in 1979, parents, James and Mamie Frank, sister, Marjorie Krupicka and brother, Dean Frank. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Loren and his wife, Rhonda of Dickens, Iowa, granddaughter, Mindi Van Houten and her husband, Justin of Melvin, grandson, Jason and his wife, Angie of Spencer, great granddaughter, Cienna Van Houten and great grandson, Elijah Van Houten; other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
A Celebration Of Life will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.

Visitation will begin 2:30 P.M., Monday, with the family present from 5 to 6:30 P.M., Monday Evening at the Warner Funeral Home in Spencer.

INTERMENT
Lone Tree Cemetery Sioux Rapids, Iowa Graveside services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Tuesday, April 6, 2010 following the lunch at Grace United Methodist Church in Spencer.
