Eric Michael Foxhoven, the son of Ronald and Kathy (Muller) Foxhoven was born August 14, 1973, in Mapleton, Iowa. His childhood years were spent Mapleton where he attended school before moving to Spencer, Iowa, in 1987. He graduated from Spencer High School in 1992.
Eric attended the Aviation program through Iowa Lakes Community College in Estherville, Iowa. He always wanted to be a pilot. While in high school, he saved every penny from his job at Super Valu to pay for flying lessons and was very proud that he received his private pilot’s license at the age of 16. After college, he lived and worked out of Minneapolis, Minnesota until moving to Kansas City, Missouri where he flew for Executive Air and Wheels Up.
Eric enjoyed flying, dogs, spending time with family, and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, being a season ticket holder for the last 10 years. He cherished all his friends he met throughout his life.
Eric passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021, at his home at the age of 47. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joe and Veronica Foxhoven; and maternal grandfather, Walter Muller.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Ronald and Kathy Foxhoven of Spencer, IA; two sisters: Sherry (Jason) Clements of Kingsley, IA, and Brenda (Scot) Francis of Royal, IA; one niece, Trinity; four nephews: Kolby, Jaden, Auston, and Gavin; one grandmother, Marian Muller of Spencer, IA; other relatives and many friends.
