Eugene Thomas Kehoe

Eugene Thomas Kehoe, the son of George and Hazel (Louter) Kehoe, was born January 25, 1930, in Milford, Iowa. He graduated from Milford High School in 1949. Eugene entered the military in 1951, and served with the Army during the Korean War until his honorable discharge in 1953. Eugene married Alice Stinogel on June 16, 1951, in Jackson, Minnesota. During their married years, he was involved in farming and also drove truck for the Wittrock family. He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Spencer. He also served on the Coop & ASCS board and was a member of the American Legion Glen Pedersen Post #1 of Spencer. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading and sports. He passed away at Avera Holy Family Hospital in Estherville, Iowa on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the age of 85. Gene was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alice in 2013; a son, Timothy in 2012; three brothers: Kenneth, Marvin and one in infancy; three sisters: Irene Doris Beving and one in infancy. Left to cherish his memory are two sons: James and his wife, Jacqueline Kehoe of Spencer and John Kehoe of Spencer; a daughter-in-law, Ranae Kehoe of Spencer; his siblings: Darlene Jeffers of California; Karen O'Clare of Matlock, IA; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, January 30, at the Warner Chapel in Spencer. Military Services will be conducted by American Legion - Glen Pedersen Post # 1 of Spencer.
