Eunice DeJong, 80 of Ruthven, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, September 14th at the Spencer Hospital.

     Eunice (Rozeboom) DeJong was born to John G.W. and Anna (Hoekstra) Rozeboom on May 17, 1941, in Sioux Center Iowa. Eunice attended school in Sioux Center and got her LPN after high school.

     On August 15, 1962, she married Allen DeJong where they lived on a farm in Carmel. They moved to Omaha and then in 1995 moved to Iowa once again.

     Eunice is survived by her husband Allen of Ruthven; Glenn and Betty Rozeboom a brother and sister-in-law of Carmel; Tim and Laura DeJong a son and daughter-in-law of Omaha, Nebraska; Their children; Brianna (Dan) McClure; Brenden (Danielle) DeJong; Brett (Jordan) DeJong  Shelley and Jeffrey Watts a daughter and son-in-law of Bellevue, Nebraska; Their children; Jeffrey Watts JR (Fallon); Jason Watts; Jerome Watts (Jesika); Jeremiah Hurley; Ja’Quawna Dotson (Mike); Jacey Watts; Todd and Heather DeJong a son and daughter-in-law of Ruthven, Iowa; Their children; Lance DeJong (Katie); Dylan DeJong (Shauna); Carter DeJong and 19 great grandchildren.

     Eunice was preceded in death by an infant son Michael; her parents John G.W. and Anna Rozeboom.

     Eunice was a member of CrossWinds Church, she liked to joke around and play games. She loved to spend time with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. She loved to talk to others about where they were from.

SERVICES
Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, September 18, 2021 at CrossWinds Church in Spencer.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. with the family present, Friday, September 17, 2021 at CrossWinds Church in Spencer.
