Everett Raymond Hintz, the son of Clarence and Viola Schott Hintz, was born August 2, 1933, in Everly, IA. His childhood years were spent in Everly where he received his education, graduating from Everly High School in 1952. Following his discharge, he returned to Everly where he worked for LeRoy Dirks at Dirks Repair as a mechanic. Everett married Verla Lou Grapenthin on March 31, 1956, in Sutherland, IA.
