Fern Ellen Bidwell

Fern Ellen (Shaffer) Bidwell, age 97, of Saugatuck, formerly of Sutherland, IA, passed away, Thursday, August 2, 2011 at Lamar Christian Care in Holland, MI. Fern was born on August 25, 1913 to the late Ai and Maude (Heacock) Shaffer. She was preceded in death by her husband, G.C. "Skeet" Bidwell in 1989 and also her brothers and sisters. Fern is survived by her daughter, E.L. "Cinda" Beardsley of Saugatuck, MI; grandchildren, Tamra and Thomas Varga of Lisle, IL, Kevin and Linda Beardsley of Bollingbrook, IL, and Scott and Kay Nemanic of Blue Earth, MN; and seven great grandchildren.

SERVICES

Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 11, 2014 at the United Methodist Church in Sutherland.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church.
