Floy Francis Fagen

Floy Francis Fagen, the daughter of William and Ann Ellis Hargrave, was born June 27, 1932, in Burrowsville, VA. She grew up in Hopewell, VA graduating from the Hopewell High School in 1950. After graduating she worked at Fort Lee, VA where she met Eldon Fagen. They were married on September 21, 1952, in Claremont, VA. Flo and Eldon moved to Iowa and farmed in the Sioux Rapids area for three years until moving to Spencer. She worked for Arnold Motor Supply and The Merrill Company for thirty years.
Flo was a lifetime Methodist and a member of Grace United Methodist Church since 1953. In her spare time, Flo enjoyed fishing and cooking.
Flo passed away on August 6, 2011 at the Spencer Hospital at the age of 79. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eldon on June 20, 2005; three brothers: Spencer, Junior and Carey Hargrave; one sister, Willis Leatherwood.
Left to cherish her memory is her son Chuck and his wife, Marsha of Dallas Center, Iowa and one grandson, Grant; one niece and three nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at the Grace United Methodist Church
