Frances Evelyn Weber

Frances Evelyn Weber, the daughter of William A. and Christina (Johansen) Weber was born October 10, 1916 in Spencer, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Spencer, where she graduated from Spencer High School in 1932. Throughout her adult years, Frances remained in Spencer her entire life, working as a secretary for Peterson Sheep and Cattle for 50 years, until her retirement in 1984. She was an active member of the First Congregational Church in Spencer, where she was a member of the Women's Fellowship and the Agnes Felt Guild. She was also a volunteer at the Hospital Auxiliary for many years and a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Frances passed away at Northshire Residence in Spencer, Iowa, on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the age of 95. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Howard Weber. Left to cherish her memory are her many special friends including: Dean and Diane Parks and Mary Kay Zinn.
SERVICES
Funeral services will be held 1:30 P.M., Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at the First Congregational Church in Spencer.
