Gary Lee Cisney

Gary was born on Dec 29, 1952 to Ruth Ellen (Willey) and Gordon Cisney of Coleridge, NE. He died unexpectedly in Spencer, IA on Feb 22, 2010. Gary and his wife Colleen had just recently moved from Omaha, NE to Spencer, IA where he had hoped to live out his retirement. In addition to his wife he leaves behind his sons Steven and Anthony and their families, as well as his daughter Dawn, all of Omaha. Gary was step father to Melissa Enfield and Jennifer Brooke and her family, also from Omaha, as well as Alex Enfield and Katie of Spencer. He had many grandchildren and step-grandchildren, all living in Omaha, brother Daryl of Ogallala, NE and niece, Angelisa Shenkel of Lincoln, NE. Gary was a long time computer programmer who had lived for many years in Austin, TX, Norwich, England and several other locations before returning to Omaha. In later years he worked as a cab driver and as a school bus driver for First Student Inc. He will be remembered as an avid bridge player and an ACBL Lifemaster. Gary always had a quick joke and an engaging story to tell. He had an extraordinary wit and a loving, caring nature, and he will be sorely missed.
