Gerry Lee Lowe

Gerry Lee Lowe, the son of Arthur and Leola Franker Lowe, was born March 12, 1941, in Spencer, Iowa. Gerry received his early education in Spencer.
Following his schooling, Gerry worked as a truck driver for Bob Weatherman, Morton Buildings and most recent for Great Lakes Concrete. Gerry was a truck driver for 50 years when he retired in 2008. In his spare time, Gerry had a passion for racing. He faithfully attended 44 years of races in Knoxville, three Indy 500 races and also was able to attend the Texas NASCAR.
Gerry passed away on October 20, 2010, at St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer at the age of 69. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur on July 1, 1998.
He is survived by his mother, Leola Tucker of Spencer, Iowa; brother, Ron Lowe of Spencer, Iowa; his children: Brenda Lowe of Perry, Iowa, Ronda Robles and husband, Raul of Perry, Iowa, Michelle Osborn and husband, Ozzy of Des Moines, Iowa and Amy Ness and husband, Steve of Terril, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 22, 2010, at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.
