Gladys Lehmann

May 16, 1908 — March 11, 2008

Gladys Lehmann, the daughter of George and Mathilda Johnson, was born May 16, 1908 in Chicago, Illinois. Gladys graduated from college with honors and was an accomplished pianist. In 1929, she married Joseph Lehmann and was a homemaker before returning to work for several companies in Chicago Gladys passed away at the Sutherland Care Center on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at the age of 99. She was preceded in death by her parents a sister and a brother. Her memory is cherished by her children; one son, Richard Lehmann of Port Austin, Michigan; two daughters: Joan Peterson of Port Austin, Michigan and Lorraine Schubert and her husband, Donald Schubert of Sutherland; her grandchildren: Caren Voss, Daniel Schubert, Linda Lee, Gail Soper, Steven Peterson, Patricia Ashby, Dawn Fergen, Sherri Thompson, Pamela Stearnes and Gregory Schubert; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

SERVICES

Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 14, 2008 at Waterman Cemetery in Sutherland.
