Glenda Rae Gustin

Glenda Rae Gustin, 77, was born September 26, 1945 to Paul L. Carpenter and Shirley G. (Harris) Carpenter in Spencer, Iowa. Glenda passed away at her home on Sept. 18^th, 2023.

Glenda graduated from Ayrshire High School in Ayrshire, Iowa.  Furthermore, she attended business school. Glenda married Duane Ray Gustin on August 5, 1967. She enjoyed reading books, playing bingo, playing cards & games, bowling and genealogy.  Additionally, she was active in the Moose Lodge in Spencer, IA.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Ron and Steve (Pam) Gustin; Step children: David Gustin, Linda Gustin and Brent Gustin; brother Mark (Cindy) Carpenter; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 1 nephew and many other family and friends.

Glenda is proceeded in death by her husband and parents; brothers, Barry and Robert “Bob” Carpenter; one niece, Jamie; and one grandchild, Johnathan Gustin.  lieu of flowers or donations, please send your donation to the Cherish Center in Milford, IA or a charity of your choice

Following the services, the family would like  to invite all  who are able to a luncheon at the Dickens Community Center in Dickens, IA.
