Harold Yungbluth

March 30, 1920 — July 10, 2009

Harold Everett Yungbluth, Sr., the son of Fred and Ida (Bussell) Yungbluth, was born on March 30, 1920, in O'Brien County, Iowa. He grew up in the Rossie area where he was baptized and confirmed at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Royal. He attended school in Rossie, where he graduated from High School in 1937. Harold was united in marriage to Helen Greene on August 15, 1943, in South Sioux City, NE. Following their marriage, they lived near Linn Grove, where he farmed. While he was farming, he worked for his father and brother-in-law driving truck and he also drove the school bus. In 1973, he moved to Royal and worked as a carpenter for over 30 years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Royal. Harold enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family. Harold was never a stranger anywhere, he always made friends and was always talking to somebody. Harold passed away on July 10, 2009, at the Ruthven Care Center at the age of 89. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his daughter, Pamela and one brother, Robert. Left to cherish his memory are his children: Harold Jr. and his wife, Linda of Royal, IA, David and his wife, Jan of Rossie, IA and Steven and his wife, Helena of Morro Bay, CA; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 16, 2009 at the United Methodist Church in Royal. There will be a lunch served right after the service

VISITATION
Visitation will be one hour prior tio the service at the church.

INTERMENT
Private Family Burial at North Lawn Memorial Park in Spencer. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Northwest Iowa.
