Harry 'Dean' Tuttle

October 29, 1941 — July 4, 2016

Harry Dean Tuttle, the son of Harry and Josephine (Black) Tuttle was born October 29, 1941 in Spencer, IA. His childhood years were spent in the Spencer area where he attended school. Dean worked as a bartender, photographer and a wedding disc jockey. He did low budget video production commercials and created his own business, Key Video. He was the Captain of the Queen II from 1988-2003. Dean enjoyed fishing, boating, painting, woodworking, and fixing antique wood boats. Later in life his passion was painting and sculpting. Dean passed away on July 4, 2016 at his home in Spencer, IA, at the age of 74. He was preceded in death by his father. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Josephine of Spencer, IA; 2 children: William and his wife, Tammy Tuttle of Charter Oak, IA and Denise and her husband Kyle Vick of Taylorsville, SC; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; one brother, Gerry Tuttle of Okoboji, IA; one sister, Janet Allen of Milford, IA; other relatives and many friends.
SERVICES
The family would like to invite friends and family to join them on a Complimentary Memorial Cruise on the Queen II on West Okoboji in Arnolds Park at 7:00 P.M., Saturday, July 16, 2016.
