Harry Noel, Jr., the son of Harry Samuel and Minnie Johnson Noel, was born June 27, 1925 in Peterson, Iowa. His childhood years were spent in Peterson, where he received his education. Following his schooling, he entered the military and served with the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII from June 12, 1943, until his honorable discharge on October 16, 1945.
Harry married Joan Resseguie in Nebraska. To this union four children were born.
Throughout his life, Harry owned and operated Noel Construction Company and later owned and operated B&H Automotive Warehouse in Spencer. He was a member of Evening Shade Lodge #312 A.F. & A.M, Clay County Chapter #112 R.A.M., York Rite and the Spencer Area Shrine Club. He was also an active member of the Abu Bekr Shrine Club in Sioux City, where he donated his time and plane to fly children to the Shriner's Hospital.
Harry married Evelyn Boen on August 2, 1992 at West Lake Okoboji, Iowa. Following their marriage, they lived at Lake Okoboji and wintered in Arizona. They moved to Branson, MO in August 2005, where they made their home.
Harry passed away at Skaggs Community Hospital in Branson, Missouri on Sunday, January 22, 2006 at the age of 80. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Ada Mae and one brother, Carl.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn of Branson, MO; his four children: Sue and her husband, Al Griman of Phoenix, AZ, Jill and her husband, Robert Ouren of Park City, Montana, Robin Noel and her friend, Tom Jones of Branson, MO and Sam Noel and his fianc�, Sharon Cain of Okoboji, IA; four grandchildren: Dawn Maze of Prescott, AZ, Jon and his wife, Anita Francis of El Paso, TX, Amber and her husband, Jim Snider of Prescott Valley, AZ and Stephany Jo Ashlock of Spirit Lake, IA; 7 great grandchildren; one sister, Bonnie and her husband, Stanley Benedict of Danville, CA; his step children: Steve Louis of Oroville, CA, David Louis of St. Louis, MO and Kathy Louis of Lancaster, CA; other relatives and many friends.
