Hildagard Monica Kuehler, the daughter of Edward and Rose Tramp Feldhacker was born April 16, 1916 in Crofton, NE. Her childhood years were spent near Crofton where she attended Beaver Creek country school.
Hilda married Henry Kuehler on November 21, 1939 in Menominee, NE. They moved to Spencer in 1950, where she worked at the Lamplighter and South T Motels, until her retirement in 1980.
Hilda enjoyed playing cards, bingo, dancing and baking, especially bread and chocolate chip cookies. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters and Altar Society.
Hilda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Henry in 1971; a grandson, James Kummerfeldt; a step-granddaughter, Kacey Puffer; 8 sisters; 7 brothers; and several nieces and nephews.
Left to cherish her memory are her 6 children, Geraldine (Jack) Rukes of Lebanon, TN, Marietta (Melvin) Kummerfeldt of Cedar Rapids, IA, Dorisann (Bill) Harlow of Yucca Valley, CA, Richard (Marcia) Kuehler of Spencer, IA, Ronald (Fern) Kuehler of Des Moines, IA, and Timothy (Amy) Kuehler of Early, IA; 19 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 14 step-great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Sister Grace Feldhacker; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will take place 10:30 A.M., Monday, February 20, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Visitation will take place Sunday, February 19, at Warner Funeral Home in Spencer, starting at 4:30 P.M., with the family present from 4:30-8:00 P.M.
