Ida Augusta Jungjohan

July 28, 1912 — March 2, 2007

Ida Augusta Jungjohan, the daughter of Henry and Ella Jones Hass, was born July 28, 1912 in Sutherland, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Sutherland, where she received her education in a country school. Ida married Clarence Henry Jungjohan on December 10, 1930 in Sutherland, Iowa. Following their marriage, they farmed near Sutherland for many years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Sutherland, where she was active in the Ladies Aid and the Ladies Circle. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Jungjohan passed away at the Sutherland Care Center on Friday, March 2, 2007 at the age of 94. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence on July 3, 1969 and one brother, Harold Hass in 2003. Left to cherish her memory are three sons and their wives: Milowe and Janice Jungjohan of Terrell, TX, Gary and Nancy Jungjohan of Sutherland, IA and Keith Jungjohan of Terrell, TX; 9 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

SERVICES

Funeral Services will be held 1:30 P.M., Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at the United Methodist Church in Sutherland.

Visitation will be from 2 to 9:00 P.M., Monday, March 5, with the family present from 6 to 8:00 P.M., Monday Evening at the Warner Funeral Home in Sutherland.
