Imelda 'Millie' Roth

Imelda "Millie" Roth, the daughter of Nick and Mary (Heller) Kramer, was born January 14, 1920 in Carroll, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Carroll, where she received her education, graduating from Carroll High School. Millie married Earl Roth on January 12, 1944 in Carroll. Following their marriage, they moved to Spencer, Iowa in 1946, where she worked at the Spencer Daily Reporter and Heartland Press. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer, where she was a member of the Catholic Daughters for 75 plus years and did mission work. She had most recently moved to Plymouth, Minnesota, where she could be closer to her family. Millie passed away at Our Lady of Peace Hospice Home in St. Paul on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at the age of 95. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl in 1992; three brothers: Sylvan, Norbert and John; her sister, Helen and a son-in-law, Thomas Wander. Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters: Shirley Wander of Minneapolis, MN and Donna (Terry) Saunders of Plymouth, MN two grandchildren: Shannon Wander (Kurt Rosbacka) and Michele (Bryan) Meredith; 5 great grandchildren: Seven Kirch, Thomas Meredith, Grace Meredith, Jared Rosbacka and Kayla Rosbacka; brother Earl (Dorothy) Kramer of Carroll; other relatives and many friends.
SERVICES
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer.
