Ione Christine Osterson

May 16, 1921 — July 17, 2013

of Hartley formerly of Spencer. Ione Christine Osterson, the daughter of Christ and Lillie (Newkirk) Peters, was born May 16, 1921 in Hartley, Iowa. She received her education in Hartley. Christine moved to Spencer in 1937, where she made her home. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church in Spencer. She worked at several places in N.W. Iowa throughout the years. She passed away at her daughter's home in Hartley, Iowa on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at the age of 92. Christine was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers and sisters. Left to cherish her memory are her three children: Donald and his wife, Betty Osterson of Greenville, IA, Lillian and William Engelkes of Hartley, IA and John and Ethel Morrow of Hartley; 13 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

SERVICES

Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.
