Irene Elaine Triplett

Irene Elaine Triplett, the daughter of Beach and Edith (Thompson) Nelson, was born in Sutherland, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in the Sutherland community, and it was there that she received her early education and graduated from high school. On October 28, 1946, Irene married Harold Burdell Triplett in Spencer, Iowa. Throughout their marriage they have made their home in Spencer. Irene was a nature lover at heart. She found great pleasure birding, belonging to the Audubon Society, attending to her flower garden and traveling. Irene passed away on July 4, 2017 at the Spencer Hospital at the age of 90. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Burdell and her sisters and brothers. She is survived by her son, Michael Triplett and his wife, Barbara; her daughter, Judy Halle; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
