Irene was born on August 26, 1944, in Hospers, Iowa, to her parents, Simon and Anastasia Schiller Stoll. Irene received her early education at St. Anthony's School in Hospers, Iowa. Her family moved to Sheldon, Iowa, and Irene then graduated from Sheldon High School in 1962. Irene worked as a Secretary for Northwest Aging Association in Spencer for 28 years. Prior to that she worked at J.C. Penney, a Lawyer's Office, an Engineer's Office and a Radiologist's office.
Irene was a member of the Catholic Daughters and the Sacred Heart Choir in Spencer for many years.
Hobbies included poetry, knitting, note card making, and coloring in the Adult Coloring Books. Her passion was "playing" on the computer, sending/receiving emails from family and friends and the Sunday and daily Mass.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, John Stoll and three sisters, Margaret Robinet, Cele Rupp, and Agnes Bodenhamer. Left to cherish her memory are two brothers, Joe Stoll and Charles Stoll, and four sisters, Mary Ann Wellik, Sister Dorothy Stoll, Rosie Falsetto, and Delores Kuttner.
SERVICES
Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M., Saturday, May 5th, 2018 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer.
