Jeannette Baysinger, the daughter of William and Clara (Seibel) Maurer, was born October 4, 1910 in Spencer, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Spencer where she received her education, graduating from Spencer High School. She later attended a Business school in Des Moines for 1� years. Following her schooling, she returned to Spencer where she worked as a secretary.
Jeannette married Bernard Arnold in 1932 and they made their home in Spencer. To this union three sons: David, Larry, and William were born. Bernard passed away in 1945. Jeannette owned and operated a retail store, Mode-O-Day, at the Gateway North Shopping Center in Spencer for 10 years until her retirement in 1973. Throughout the years, she was a member of the United Methodist Church where she was active with the UMC. Jeannette was a member of the Rebecca Lodge, BPW and the Women's Relief Corps. She loved to read and sew.
Jeannette married William G. Baysinger on April 29, 1979.
She passed away at the Community Memorial Health Center in Hartley, Iowa, on Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at the age of 101. Jeannette was preceded in death by her parents; her 1st husband, Bernard in 1945; her 2nd husband, William in 1985; one brother, Bill, Jr . and one sister, Margaret Maurer.
Left to cherish her memory are her three sons: David 'Joe' Arnold of Peterson, IA, Larry Arnold of Medford, NJ and William 'Mike' Arnold of Ellijay, GA; four grandsons; one granddaughter; two step grandsons; two great-granddaughters; two great- grandsons; one great-great-granddaughter; other relatives and many friends.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00P.M., Saturday, August 11, 2012, at the Riverside Cemetery in Spencer.
