Jacqueline 'Jacque' Jill Heilstedt

Jacqueline Jill Heilstedt, the daughter of Walter William and Lois Marie Wohlenberg Moeller, was born May 19, 1938 in Spencer, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent on a farm south east of Spencer. She received her education in Gillett Grove where she graduated in 1956. Jacque married Richard Heilstedt on March 22, 1959 in Spencer, Iowa. Following their marriage, they continued to live in Gillett Grove, where he farmed for many years. They moved to Spencer in 1979. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Spencer and the Moose Lodge where she was a longtime member of Women of the Moose. In her spare time, Jacqueline enjoyed caring for her flowers and plants, sewing and most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Jacque passed away at the Longhouse Residence in Spencer on October 22, 2015, at the age of 77. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard on February 2, 1990; her half-brother, Donald Moeller; 3 half-sisters: Jean Satterlee, Virginia Meyer and Marciel Westphalen and brother-in-law, Richard Clay. She is survived by her daughter, Jill Elliott of Sioux City, IA; son and his wife, Charles & Brenda Heilstedt of Ruthven, IA; 4 grandchildren: Angie & Jason Remillard, Jessica & Dan Duffield, Richard Elliott and Shyanne Heilstedt; one great-grandson, Cameron Remillard; brother, Clifton (Jean) Moeller of Cummings, GA; sister, Marlene Clay of Alta, IA; other relatives and friends.
