James Burr Kitterman, the son of Burr Kenneth and Dorothy (Deaton) Kitterman, was born May 30, 1950 in St. Paul, MN. His childhood years were spent in East Bethel, MN, where he received his education, graduating from St. Francis High School in St. Francis, MN. He later attended and graduated from Alexandria Technical College in Alexandria, MN with a degree in Avionics.
Jim married Diane Seggerman on December 1, 1973 in Milbank, SD. They lived in Minneapolis, MN for 20 years and in Sacramento, CA for two years. They moved to Spencer, Iowa, where they have made their home for the last 20 years and Jim and Diane owned and operated Employment Connections, Inc. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Spencer. He was also active in Pheasants Forever and liked to camp, snowmobile, fish and hunt with his English Pointer dogs and hang out with his family, friends and his dogs.
Jim passed away unexpectedly at the Spencer Hospital on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at the age of 62. His parents preceded him in death.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Diane of Spencer; a sister, Barb Gow of Anoka, MN; several brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
SERVICES
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 25 at Grace United Methodist Church in Spencer, Iowa. A military flag presentation will be held at the church following the funeral service. A lunch and time of fellowship will be held at the church immediately following the services.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to People For Pets.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 24 with the family present from 2-4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at Warner Funeral Home in Spencer.
