James Leclair

January 12, 1947 — August 29, 2012

James (Jim) LeClair, age 65, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at The Abbey in LeMars. He is survived by four siblings, Phyllis Curran (Bernie), Patricia Harrington (Raymond),Judy Thompson (Bill) and Leo J. LeClair (Carol), two aunts Gunnie Brower and Cleone Schmidt and by six nieces and five nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Ruby (Morrow) and Leo F. LeClair. Born January 12, 1947 in Hartley, he grew up on a farm outside Royal. He graduated from Royal High School and attended Iowa State University. He worked with his father on the farm for many years. Jim later lived in Storm Lake and Le Mars. He loved music and movies. Jim enjoyed making people laugh with his stories and original jokes. As in life Jim was loved so in death he will be missed. SERVICES

Funeral services will take place 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, September 5, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer.
