James Walter Herrill

April 26, 1953 — September 17, 2007

James Walter Herrill, the son of Walter and Ruth Tallman Herrill, was born April 26, 1953 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. His childhood years were spent on a farm near Underwood, Iowa, where he received his education, graduating from Underwood High School. Following his schooling, he farmed on the family farm for several years. In 2001, he moved to Spencer, Iowa, where he worked for National Spencer, Inc. until the time of his death. He was a lifelong member of Mt. Hope United Methodist Church in McClelland, Iowa. Jim passed away at his home in Spencer on Monday, September 17, 2007 at the age of 54. His parents preceded him in death. He is survived by one son, Leland and his fianc�, Sabrina Adams of Spencer; one daughter, Nicole Herrill of Council Bluffs, IA; one grandchild, Joshua Herrill; three sisters: Ellen Nelson of Seattle, WA, Jean Polansky of Aurora, CO and Marge Dietrich of Omaha, NE; other relatives and many friends.

SERVICES

Memorial Services will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, September 22, 2007 at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.
