Jaren Raymond Andrew Rook, the son of Courtney and Josh Rook was born October 7, 2012, in Spencer, Iowa. Jaren always enjoyed jumping on the couch, climbing on furniture, and exploring. He was happy playing with his brothers and sisters, his toys and especially his monkeys. He liked to make faces and had a very contagious laugh. Jaren passed away on Friday, January 17, 2014, at the Spencer Hospital. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jadin Rook. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Courtney and Josh Rook of Spencer, IA; 2 brothers, Jagger and Jaxon; 2 sisters, Mirra and Mea; grandparents: Virgil and Angela Powell of Sutherland, IA, Kathleen Rook of Primghar, IA; Andrew LaRance of Federal Way, WA, and Ray Vega of Crown Point, IN; one aunt, Morgan Vega of Sutherland, IA; 4 uncles, Jeremie Rook, Jonathan Rook, Jacob Rook, and Alex Vega; other relatives and many friends.

SERVICES

Memorial services will take place 1:00 P.M., Thursday, January 23, at Faith Lutheran Church in Spencer.
