Jean Anne Jackson

Jean Anne Jackson, the daughter of William J. and Mary (McCarville) Jackson, was born April 12, 1970, in Spencer, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in Spencer where she received her education, graduating from Spencer High School in 1988. Following high school, she continued her education, receiving her AA degree from Iowa Lakes Community College. Jean married Greg Dragseth and to this union, two children were born: Anne Elizabeth and Lille Marie. Throughout her life, Jean worked for years in the Spencer area, and for the last several years had worked at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Spencer. Jean enjoyed spending time with her two daughters and sharing time with kids at the school. She passed away at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at the age of 43. She was preceded in death by her father. Jean is survived by her two children: Anne and Lille Dragseth of Spencer, IA; her mother, Mary J. Jackson of Spencer, IA; one sister, Kate Wilson and husband, Michael of Omaha, NE; one brother, Ed Jackson and wife, Vanessa of New York, NY; one niece, Hannah; one nephew, Liam; a host of many other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer.
