H. Jean Baumann, the daughter of Bernard and Frances Paskiewicz Goergen, was born January 14, 1927 in Winona, MN. Her childhood years were spent in Winona where she graduated from High School in 1944.
Jean married Gaylord Baumann on August 21, 1948, in Winona, Minnesota. They spent the early years of their marriage in Winona. In 1967, they moved to Spencer, Jean stayed home and raised their daughter, Pat and later Jean worked as a bank teller for a few years. Jean was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer. In her spare time, Jean enjoyed sewing, cooking and attending her grandson's school events and most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Mrs. Baumann passed away at her home in Spencer on March 6, 2017 at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her parents; 7 siblings and her husband, Gaylord.
She is survived by her daughter Pat (Gary) Rustwick of Spencer, IA; two grandsons: Bryce (Suzanne Marshall) Rustwick of Des Moines, IA and Brant (Susan) Rustwick of Cedar Rapids, IA; one great grandson, Jackson of Cedar Rapids, IA; other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer, Iowa.
