Jeffrey Mark Franker, the son of Earl William and Cecelia A. Klinker Franker, was born November 15, 1955 in Spencer, Iowa. His childhood years were spent in Royal, Iowa, where he received his education, graduating from Clay Central High School in 1974.
Jeff married Lonelle Fonley on November 26, 1977 in Spencer, Iowa. Following their marriage, they continued to live in Spencer, where he farmed and most recently for the past 13 years, was employed at Eaton Corporation in Spencer. He was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church in Spencer, Iowa, where he was a youth group leader, Sunday school teacher and was on the Trustees Committee Methodist Church. He was also a Boy Scout Leader for many years. The farm was his joy in life; he also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter, who was the "apple of his eye".
Jeff passed away at the Spencer Hospital on Saturday, December 23, 2006 at the age of 51. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl William Franker.
He is survived by his wife, Lonelle of Spencer; three sons: Gabriel and his wife, Tanya of Muscatine, IA, Eli and his wife, Sara of Spencer and Jacob of Spencer; his mother, Cecelia Franker of Spencer; two brothers: Richard Franker of Brooks, GA and Dennis Franker of Ayrshire, IA; one sister, Garen Hebeisen of Hackensack, MN; one granddaughter, Katherine Marie of Muscatine; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30a.m., Thursday, December 28, 2006, at the Grace United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m., Wednesday at the Warner Funeral Home.Visitation will continue at the Grace United Methodist Church after 4:00p.m., with the family present at the church 6:00-8:00p.m., Wednesday evening.
