Jerry Wayne Gross

Jerry Wayne Gross was born February 21, 1950, to Lorana (Pat) Brinkley Gross and Raymond Gross. He was joined by siblings Randy, Jane, Tom, and Kathy.
Jerry attended South Clay Schools, graduating in 1968. He attended college at Iowa State University.

Jerry served in the Army National Guard from 1968-1975.

After his father died when Jerry was 21, he managed the family farm until he harvested last fall's crop at age 70.
Ryan, Tasha, and Kylee are his children from a previous marriage.
He was united in marriage to Cyndee Logan Gross on August 3, 2002.

Jerry took great pride in planting his crops, watching them grow, and harvesting in the fall.
He enjoyed hunting pheasants and deer, fishing, evening drives to check the crops, playing cards with the guys, casinos, and watching his children's and grandchildren's events.
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Father, Raymond Gross and Mother, Lorana (Pat) Gross.
He is survived by wife, Cyndee Gross, Children, Ryan (Roxanne) Gross of Greenville, IA, Tasha (Jason) Way of Turlock, CA, and Kylee (Aaron) Zinn of Spencer, IA. Step Children, Shelbe (Dennis) Wadle of Fonda, IA and Shane (Melissa) Steinbeck of Minneapolis, MN. Grandchildren Alex and Brynden Gross, A.J. and Tate Zinn, and Jackson Way. Step Grandchildren Kadin and Alexa Wadle. Siblings Randy (Brock) Gross of Houston, TX, Jane (Brad) Smith of Beaman, IA, Tom (Lynnette) Gross of Greenville, IA, and Kathy (Bob) Colucci of Hornell, NY, Aunt, Colleen Chambers, nieces, nephews and many cousins.
Graveside services will be held this summer at Rose Hill Cemetery in rural Greenville.

SERVICES
Celebration of Life Memorial Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon - 2:00 P.M., on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at the Greenville Community Building in Greenville.

Rosehill Cemetery
