Joan Dolores Jones

     Joan Dolores Jones, the daughter of Louis and Dolores (Mohr) Seidensticker was born June 3, 1951 in New York City, NY. At the age of 4 she moved to Agoura, CA where she grew up and graduated from high school. She moved to Linn Grove, IA and started work at Spencer Foods.

     Joan Married Jay Jones on February 5, 1981 in Spencer, IA. She worked for Spencer Planning and Development while continuing her education at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, IA. She enjoyed playing cards, going to the beach, and especially spending time with her family and grandchildren. Joan was always willing to help a friend out.

     Joan passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD at the age of 66. She was preceded in death by her father; and one sister, Carol (Carr).

     Left to cherish her memory are her husband Jay of Spencer, IA; 3 children, Jason Jones of Omaha, NE, Jennifer (John Means) Jones of Spencer, IA, and Jeremy (Linda) Burger of Urbandale, IA; 6 grandchildren, with one on the way, Clarissa, Kyely, Jordon, Josie, Jillian, and Bianca; her mother, Dolores of Henderson, NV; one brother, Jeff Seidensticker of Henderson, NV; one sister Gwyn (Chad) Seidensticker-Howard of Henderson, NV; other relatives and many friends.
