Johnathon Darrell Fox the son of Darrell and Judy Fox was born Dec 23, 1987 in Sioux City Iowa. He was the oldest of three boys in the Fox Family. John graduated from Spencer High School where he spoke at his high school graduation; He attended Kirkwood community college for a period of time.
John was a spirited and outgoing child who growing up on the family acreage, enjoyed many pets, riding go carts and mini bikes, Fourth of July firework parties, and fun times with his family. In his youth, John was a good baseball player and played on several traveling baseball teams. During his life John had many jobs, including being a DJ, working in the food industry, and cell phone sales. He really enjoyed working with his customers. For those of you who knew John, also knew of the battles with which he struggled. Despite those battles, John never let them keep him down. His charismatic tone and voice filled rooms with smiles and laughter.
John passed away Wednesday March 7, 2018 at his home. He was preceded in death by his grandfather’s Stanley Fox and Carl Brown, Great grandmother Esther Reilly, Cousin Page Marie George.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Darrell and Judy Fox of Spencer, brothers Christopher and Benjamin of Iowa City, grandmothers Darlene Fox of Sheldon and Lois Brown of Ruthven, Uncles and Aunts: Steve and Melissa Fox of Spencer, Jim and Ann Hoch of Ainsworth Nebraska, Wayne and Jane Larson of Storm Lake Iowa, John and Nancy Johnson of Lake Mills Iowa, Evan and Nita George of Sioux City Iowa, Carla Dornsbach of Woodland Park Colorado, and cousins and extended family: Reilly and Abby Hoch, Haley Hoch, Cassidy (Andrew) Christy and Cooper Fox, Ryan and Mai Larson, Kelly and Steven Oliver, children Katlyn and Kyle, Sarah and Kevin Drake, daughter Madeline, Michael and Cassie Johnson, Eric and Felicia Johnson, and Megan Johnson, Kollin George and fiance, Kendall Consalus, Matthew George and Conner George, Montana Dornsbach, Jackson Dornsbach, Aspen Dornsbach and Autumn Dornsbach of Woodland Park Colorado, and many friends.
