Joseph Alan Nieman

Joseph Alan Nieman, the son of James and Gloria (Buechler) Nieman, was born on April 14, 1987 in Hartley, Iowa. He received his early education in Hartley and graduated from Spencer High School in 2005. Joe continued his education in Estherville and Cedar Rapids where he met Emily Queck. Joe and Emily gave birth to a beautiful daughter, Natalee Ann. Joe loved fishing, hunting and canoeing. He also loved to play his guitar, video games and being with his friends. Joe passed away at his home on November 30, 2008 at the age of 21. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Clayton Nieman and his cousins: Gregory Nieman and Keshia Anderson. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Natalee Ann; his mother, Gloria Nieman of Spencer, IA; his father, James Nieman of Fairmont, MN; his sisters: Jessica Nieman of Spencer, IA and Kelly Cederstrom and her husband, Brent of Owatonna, MN; his brother, Bryan Nieman and his wife, Kelly of Gretna, NE; his paternal grandmother, Jean Nieman of Spencer, IA; his maternal grandparents' Eugene and Adeline Buechler of Hartley, IA; his uncles: Joe Nieman and his wife, Sharon of LeMars, IA, Mark Nieman of LeMars, IA and Darrell Buechler of Hartley, IA; his aunts: Jane Greving and her husband, Jim of Stoughton, WI, Jenny Maharry and her husband, Greg of Webster City, IA and Joni Culver and her husband, Brent of Cedar Rapids, IA; other relatives and many friends.
