Joseph Laverne Enderton

November 30, 1933 — June 28, 2006

Joseph Laverne Enderton, the son of Joseph Henry and Mary Frances (Bethel) Enderton, was born November 30 1933, in Wacoma, IA. His childhood years were spent on a farm east of Webb where he also attended school. On May 19, 1952, he married Darlene Weeks in Jackson MN. Following their marriage, Joseph worked at the Conoco Station and DX before taking over the Champlin Station. In 1973, Joseph went to work for Don Heiter driving truck for 25 years. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing up North, working in his yard, playing cards (especially 500), gardening, flowers, watching sporting events and attending the racetrack in Algona. Joseph was a member of the United Methodist Church in Webb. Joseph passed away at the Spencer Hospital on June 28, 2006, at the age of 72. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Ruby Myers and Ruth Burg-Twait; and one brother, George Enderton. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Darlene of Webb, IA; three daughters: Debra Werts and her husband, Alan of Spencer, IA, Cynthia Hahn and her husband, Dennis Sr. of Spencer, IA, and Michele Jackson and her husband, Carl of Cummings, GA; two sons: Joe Jr. and his wife, Mary of Graettinger, IA, and Danny of Webb, IA; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one sister, Fern Clark of Boone, IA; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00p.m., Saturday, July 1, 2006 at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.

VISITATION
Visitaion will begin after 4:00p.m., Friday with the family present from 6:00 - 8:00p.m., Friday eve. at the funeral home in Spencer.
